Last week i came across a brilliant android app named "Where's my droid" which is a free application from android market. Its a fantastic application to trace your lost mobile. Sometimes we were not able to find our phone by calling from another phone if it is in silent mode. In that situation we send the predefined keyword as a message from another phone thats all the phone starts ringing automatically and we can find our phone. The second keyword will send the geographic location of the lost or theft phone when the gps is active on the phone. In either case we will get an automatic reply from which we can find the current phone number even if the SIM is replaced.


P.S: If you find a phone somewhere and doesnt wish to return it to its owner, immediately remove the SIM card and insert another SIM which doesnt have enough balance to send a message as some phones will automatically send message.
